The Founder
The founder of GRS wanted to create a successful recruitment business that would attract highly motivated and creative individuals who were looking to be the best in their business and in turn would offer their clients and candidates the best service in the business. Through our positive, collaborative and entrepreneurial culture we have engender in all of our team a can do attitude that emanates throughout the company and has led to the success of GRS over more than ten years since establishing GRS in 2005.
Steve graduated in Law before joining one of the UK’s leading recruitment firms where he set up and headed their property recruitment division in central London. He then moved on to work for a boutique London financial recruiter specialising in placing senior finance professionals with FTSE top 50 companies. Steve moved to Cyprus to establish a new office for an international consultancy company, before establishing GRS and turning GRS into the market leader in Cyprus for recruitment and payroll services.
Who We Are
We are Cyprus’ most established recruitment agency, GRS Global Recruitment Solutions. In 2020 we will reach a milestone and will celebrate our 15 year anniversary.
Founded by Steve Slocombe, the company has grown significantly and accomplished a great deal since 2005. We’re recognized as a top recruitment firm and the largest recruiter in Cyprus. We are a lead recruiter to many sectors of the Cyprus and Malta economy including corporate services, legal, accounting, financial services, Forex, FinTech, IT, Shipping and Energy.
Over the years we have attained countless achievements and been awarded recruitment partner for numerous infrastructure projects including Larnaca and Paphos Airport construction, desalination plants, wind farms, emergency electricity supply projects, H&M retail flagship store Nicosia and the European Bank for Reconstruction and development’s Annual Conference.
