A wonderful opportunity for a self-motivated and talented Finance professional to join an international group of companies (head office in Belgium) with diverse and global business streams. This pivotal role will assist in the leadership and management of a broad range of finance and corporate issues and the successful candidate will be supporting the Cyprus regional Finance Manager.

Your responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth operation of the company's Finance and Accounting functions
• Review and guide a team of accountants to ensure accurate accounting entries
• Prepare and submit management accounts in a timely and accurate manner
• Produce all relevant reporting as required by regulatory authorities
• Assist with the performance of the company's internal audit
• Assist with Tax and VAT compliance
• Maintain relations and cooperate with head office and external associates such as auditors, banks, etc.

Your profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or in a related field
• Member of a Professional Accounting Body (ACCA/ACA)
• At least 5 years of professional experience in an accounting/audit firm
• Experience in leading and managing a team
• Dynamic with an ability to take initiative, solve problems and deliver results
• A strategic person with very good analytical skills coupled with attention to detail
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer literate (MS Office)
• Very good knowledge of English.
