We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled System Support Specialist to join our team. This role is integral to maintaining our bespoke electronic spare parts catalog system, developed in-house using 1C Bitrix and PHP. With minimal documentation available, this position challenges an individual to deeply understand and enhance our system, ensuring high performance and user satisfaction.
JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION: SYSTEM SUPPORT SPECIALIST
Location: Cyprus or Remote
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Provide prompt and efficient support to system users, ensuring timely resolution of queries and issues.
· Collaborate with the development team to identify, document, and implement system enhancements and improvements.
· Manage and optimize system integrations and functionality, utilizing a variety of technologies and platforms.
· Conduct thorough troubleshooting, leveraging your understanding of software and database architecture to address and solve technical problems.
· Test and validate new features and updates, ensuring compliance with our rigorous quality standards.
IT IS IMPORTANT FOR US
· Proficiency in software development and scripting languages, with a willingness to learn specific platforms such as Dassault Solidworks, Oracle NetSuite, 1C Bitrix, PHP, .Net.
· Strong foundational knowledge in database management and system architecture.
· Proven experience with system integrations and troubleshooting, particularly with REST APIs.
· Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
· A keen eye for detail and a dedication to delivering high-quality work.
· Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical team members.
· A solid track record in a support role, demonstrating a history of enhancing system performance and user satisfaction.
· A proactive team player who can also drive projects forward and potentially lead a support team in the future.
