We are looking for a
Compliance Officer
/ Head of Compliance
to join our CySEC-regulated CFD brokerage.
This role is open to candidates with
2–3+ years of compliance experience
, ideally within the Forex / CFD sector, who are ready to take ownership of core compliance and AML responsibilities in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure continuous compliance with
Cyprus and EU regulatory requirements
applicable to CIFs - Prepare and submit regulatory reports to
CySEC
and other competent authorities - Prepare the Annual Compliance Function Report and Annual AML Report
- Support compliance with
MiFID II
,
EMIR
and
MiFIR
requirements in coordination with internal teams
AML, KYC & Client Due Diligence
- Develop, implement and monitor AML policies and procedures
- Oversee KYC, CDD and Enhanced Due Diligence processes in cooperation with the Back Office
- Define risk triggers based on client activity, deposits and withdrawals
- Report suspicious transactions to
MOKAS
where required
Internal Controls & Monitoring
- Monitor internal systems and controls to ensure regulatory compliance
- Conduct internal compliance reviews and audits
- Identify compliance gaps and recommend or implement corrective actions
- Review segregation of client funds and related procedures
Advisory, Training & Business Support
- Provide day-to-day compliance and AML guidance to employees
- Develop and deliver compliance training across the organization
- Review marketing materials, website content, disclaimers and legal documents
- Review investment research and related communications for regulatory compliance
Governance & Stakeholder Interaction
- Participate in management meetings and provide compliance input
- Support due diligence when onboarding or replacing business partners
- Cooperate closely with Dealing, Brokerage, Back Office and other departments
Requirements
- University degree in Law, Business, Finance, Economics or a related field
- Mandatory
: Holder of
CySEC Advanced
and
CySEC AML
certifications - 2–3+ years of experience
in a Compliance Officer or similar role within financial services - Good understanding of Forex / CFD products and regulatory expectations
- Working knowledge of CySEC reporting tools and regulatory portals
- Strong command of English (additional languages are a plus)
- High attention to detail, strong analytical skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
