Our client, an IT-Media company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Counsel to join the Team in Cyprus.

Over the last two years, the company's audience has increased by more than 200%. Each month, more than 100 million people visit their sites.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Work on corporate, commercial, labor, IP, and tax legal issues.
• Handle contracts (analysis, preparation, updating of internal and foreign economic contracts, support for the conclusion of contracts).
• Manage internal documents (update flows, drafts, rules & regulations, etc.).
• Provide support to employment and freelance engagement issues, and advise the HR team.
• Advise the financial team, work on KYC issues, support audits, etc.
• Conduct legal analysis regarding various matters in different jurisdictions (e.g., USA, EU, Cyprus, BVI).
• Manage cooperation with the company's agents and contractors.
• Interact with state authorities and represent the company's interests.
  

Ideal Candidate for the Role:

• Is a qualified lawyer under Cyprus law.
• Has a few years of dynamic legal experience in a reputable law firm or as an in-house lawyer.
• Possesses strong knowledge of commercial, contract, corporate, labor, and international private law (Cyprus and the EU legislation).
• Experienced in corporate, economic, contractual, labor law, and support of cross-border economic activity; experience in tax and IP matters is advantageous.
• Is fluent in English (business and legal vocabulary).
• Has strong business correspondence and communication skills.
• Understands the needs of business and is willing to advance it.
• Is responsible, independent, proactive, result- and growth-oriented, and has a keen eye for detail.
  

The company offers:

• Mostly remote work, with occasional visits to the office in Limassol (based on business needs; approximately once a week).
• Labor contract with a Cyprus legal entity.
