- Oversee the preparation of daily reconciliation and safekeeping of clients' funds, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Lead the monthly reconciliations of Company and Client money, providing guidance to junior staff as needed
- Supervise the preparation of monthly management accounts, reviewing for completeness and accuracy before dissemination
- Manage the posting and processing of journal entries to maintain accurate financial records and ensure all business transactions are properly accounted for
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff in updating accounts payable and performing reconciliations
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all accounting records, taking proactive measures to address discrepancies
- Coordinate the preparation and submission of other weekly/monthly reports, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
- Collaborate with senior management and assist in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings, providing insights and analysis as required
- Oversee the group's payments and expenses, ensuring proper processing, verification, and reconciliation of invoices
- Serve as a key liaison for both external and internal auditors, facilitating the finalization of Financial Statements and statutory reports
- Undertake any additional responsibilities or projects assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Economics / Finance
- Prior experience in a reputable FX Firm or similar financial institution preferred
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across departments
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and accounting software
- Self-motivated and proactive with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
