- Design and develop scalable services that fit a microservice architecture following Domain Drive Design.
- Write high quality code, participate in code reviews and be responsible for other code quality activities.
- Write unit and integration tests.
- Conduct functional and non-functional testing.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications.
- Write technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop technical solutions.
- The Software Developer will work with other members of the team to identify and quantify project tasks and contribute to a schedule of delivery commitments and costs. They will proactively manage their own time and communicate progress and issues with their manager.
- Every employee is responsible for ensuring that the customer is satisfied with the delivered product and that it has delivered value to their business. This includes ensuring that the software delivered meets the customer's requirements and is delivered in a timely manner.
- In consultation with their Manager, the Software Developer will plan their personal development to ensure that they remain up to date with new technologies, understanding their benefits and issues. They will use these skills to come up with innovative designs that provide clear benefits to customers. CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with designing scalable services following domain driven design.
- Has experience with Cloud Infrastructure. Preferably AWS.
- Knowledge of Java, JavaScript and frameworks/systems (e.g., Spring, NodeJs)
- Experience with NoSQL as well as Relational Databases such as MySQL.
- Ability to act as a technical lead. Can be responsible for project delivery and setting quality standards.
